About Gemma Silvestre
With over 19 years of experience as a freelancer in the camera department of the film and advertising industries, Gemma Silvestre’s cinematographic influences are clear in her work.
After learning from the best directors of photography, she decided to add technique to her own natural instinct by attending different schools.
A Master in Applied Photography at IDEP Image and Design School in Barcelona and a Workshop in Creative Lighting at the International Center of Photography in New York are some highlights of her training.
She is passionate about capturing light, details and feelings – pure emotion.
In recent years, she has been drawn to the underwater world, with images full of creativity and imagination.

Con influencias cinematográficas debido a los 19 años de experiencia como freelance en el departamento de cámara en cine y publicidad, Gemma Silvestre se ha formado en distintos centros.
Después de haber aprendido de los mejores directores de fotografÃa, necesitaba reforzar su instinto con técnica.
A destacar un Master de FotografÃa Aplicada en IDEP (Barcelona) y un Workshop de Luz Creativa en ICP New York (International Center of Photography). Le apasiona la luz, el detalle y los sentimientos que emanan de la imagen. Pura emoción.
En los últimos años, se ha sentido atraÃda por el mundo subacuático. Creatividad e imaginación en sus imágenes.
